MBA Cafe, March 19th 2014 – Professor Stephen Daze

Based on feedback following the last MBA Cafe in November, one of the topics of particular interest to Telfer MBA alumni is entrepreneurship. With that in mind, Professor Daze will be discussing key aspects of the entrepreneurial process, from initial product development to identifying potential markets and developing a business plan.

Stephen Daze, Telfer’s Entrepreneur in Residence, joined the Telfer School of Management in 2012, where he teaches entrepreneurship to undergraduates and MBAs, and is responsible for entrepreneurship strategy and program planning, providing counsel to students and faculty on business planning and business start-up issues, and working with the community to bolster support for the school’s entrepreneurship activities.

He is the Founder of Agawa Entrepreneurship Development Corporation and the former Managing Director of Entrepreneurship and Talent activities at the Ottawa Centre for Regional Innovation. He is also the founder of CoachMyStartup, allowing him to work with early-staged entrepreneurs to help them build their businesses using proven methodologies with the quickest path to profitability.
