Rabbi was born and raised in Zambia, and is currently a fourth year student at Telfer, pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce specialized in Finance. Throughout his years studying finance, Rabbi has shown involvement in extracurricular activities related to his interests. The most recent being a case competition held by the schools very own finance society sponsored by TMX group. In addition to this, Rabbi has also been involved on the team representing Ottawa at the prestigious CFA Equity Research Competition. Out of the few schools invited in Canada, uOttawa managed to place top four at the competition and compete with other top schools in Canada
Apart from Finance, Rabbi enjoys playing sports and remaining active. Much of his hobbies include playing basketball, kayaking, biking, reading, and listening to music

Evan was born in raised in Ottawa Canada, and is currently a fourth year student at Telfer, pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce specialized in Finance. Evan has held internships in Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto, most recently working for BMO Capital Markets Investment Banking Division. He is a member of the Dean`s Honour Role and is extensively involved in teaching and mentoring younger students studying finance at Telfer. Evan is scheduled to complete an international exchange at the Vienna University of Economics in Business in the winter of 2017. Outside of finance, Evan enjoys hiking, kayaking, golf, reading, and international politics.

Raised in Ottawa, Tina is currently a fourth year Finance student at the Telfer School of Management. From a young age, Tina has always been interested in entrepreneurship and finance. Before coming to the University of Ottawa, Tina started her own business venture in her senior year of high school where she created her own line of watches. She graduated Valedictorian of her class.
During her university studies, she completed Canadian Securities Course (CSC) in her second year, and she is now pursuing her CFA designation and FRM designation. Tina has been involved in the CMMP Program since 2013 while maintaining her position on the Dean’s Honour Role. Tina will be working in Corporate and Asset-Backed Lending at EDC this upcoming summer.
Tina is currently Portfolio Manager for the Utilities Sector, She was the previous Portfolio Manager for both the Energy and Utilities Sectors. In her free time, Tina enjoys going kayaking, playing volleyball, and acrylic painting.

Before coming to the University of Ottawa, Alexandre attended a private boarding on the outskirts of Montreal (Rigaud’s Collège Bourget). He has always been very active within the Telfer School of Management, undertaking responsibilities not only in the Telfer Capital Fund, but also in various other clubs such as Les Jeux du Commerce (VP Academic 2016). Alexandre has already completed his Canadian Securities Course and is a CFA level I candidate, writing his examination in December 2016. Erik Mosney – Healthcare
Status: Portfolio Manager Leader
Erik is a fourth year finance student in the Telfer School of Management’s Commerce program. He is currently a Portfolio Manager Leader at TCF, having previously held Portfolio Manager and Analyst positions within the Healthcare sector.
This past summer, he worked as an Analyst within The Minto Group’s asset management division, Minto Properties, reporting to the Director of Portfolio Analysis and performing private equity real estate investment management. In the summer of 2015, he worked along-side the CEO of The Minto Group, providing support and shadowing as the sole Analyst within a Companywide rotational program.
At the University of Ottawa, Erik has been a standout competitor within case competitions such as Jeux de Commerce Central and enjoys tutoring his peers in finance courses. An original member of the Capital Markets Mentorship Program at the University, he has been immersed in financial markets since his first undergraduate year.
Originally from Guelph Ontario, Erik graduated from Centennial C.V.I. where he played and coached varsity hockey. He enjoys reading biographies, golfing, playing guitar, and snowboarding.

Born and raised in Moscow, Russia, Roma Stepanchenko is a third year French immersion finance student. In addition to being part of the Telfer Capital Fund & the Capital Markets Mentorship Program, Roma is a mergers & acquisitions associate at Welch Group Consulting, a senior partner at Montes Auri – a private investment management fund, a Telfer Career Centre Ambassador, and a bilingual Teaching Assistant for various accounting, management, and finance courses at the Telfer School of Management. He has a background and passion in quantitative finance and sees opportunity in using algorithmic trading strategies to mitigate risk and maximise returns. He also loves kicking back and playing blues on his six string when taking a break from generating alpha.

Jacob is a fourth year student at the Telfer School of Management, pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a Finance specialization. Jacob currently serves as one of the Portfolio Manager Leaders at the Telfer Capital Fund.
This summer Jacob will be working at Collins Barrow on the Corporate Finance & Transaction Services group in Toronto. Jacob currently holds part time positions as a Lab Assistant at the financial research lab at the University of Ottawa and as an Investment Researcher at an Ottawa based tech start-up. Prior to this, Jacob worked as an analyst at a management consulting firm, HDR Decision Economics, which specializes in economic and financial analysis related projects.
Jacob is an Honour Role student at Telfer and was recently inducted to the Beta Gamma Sigma society for his outstanding academic achievements. Jacob will writing his CFA Level 1 exam in June of 2016 and will then be returning to the Telfer School of Management in the Fall for his final semester.
Prior to university, Jacob attended Colonel By High School which holds a reputation of being one of the most sought after high schools in the city. Throughout high school Jacob was an Honour Role student and was a competitive boxer outside of school. In his spare time Jacob Enjoys working out, outdoor activities, tutoring students in financial modelling and valuation, and reading.
