ELLE
This event’s unique mission is to inspire a new wave of students, teaching them to dream big while remembering the importance of being agile within your career to conquer chaos. This year’s 23rd annual e-LLE (Excellence in Leadership, Legacy in Entrepreneurship) is an event solely dedicated to promoting the accomplishments of women entrepreneurs. The evening will consist of a panel of passionate female founders, discussing all things quarantine life, the new difficulties the pandemic has created for their businesses, and what they have done to pivot during these unprecedented times. Students will have the opportunity to get to know the panelists following the conversation, allowing time to further connect with professional entrepreneurs.
Elevator Pitch Competition
The Elevator Pitch Competition showcases the University of Ottawa’s top startups. As part of Global Entrepreneurship week, this competition allows those in businesses and social ventures with “traction” as well as entrepreneurs that are still in the early stages of validating or those who just have an idea to pitch to a panel of judges and win prize money and professional services. The online event will also include a keynote speaker who will share their personal successes and struggles as an entrepreneur.
