Laurent M. Lapierre, Ph.D.<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Laurent is the project’s primary investigator. He is a full professor at the Telfer School of Management, and currently holds the Ian Telfer Professorship in Workplace Behaviour and Health. His research career has focused on occupational health psychology and the quality of manager-employee relationships.<\/p>\n

\"Jane<\/p>\n

Jane O\u2019Reilly, Ph.D.<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Jane is an associate professor\u00a0at the Telfer School of Management. Her main research areas are mistreatment and social sexual behaviours in organizations. Her work on third-party mistreatment focuses on how bystanders can help (and sometimes further harm) the targets of workplace bullying and harassment. She also studies workplace social exclusion as a form of mistreatment, and how being left out of the social circle at work can be detrimental to employees\u2019 well-being.<\/p>\n

\"Silvia<\/p>\n

Silvia Bonaccio, Ph.D.<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Silvia is a full professor\u00a0at the Telfer School of Management, and currently holds the Ian Telfer Professorship in Workplace Psychology. She does research on\u00a0facilitators of positive work experiences for employees living with disabilities,\u00a0the influence of anxiety and emotions in the personnel assessment and selection process, and\u00a0is known for her work on advice and decision-making.<\/p>\n

\"Magda<\/p>\n

Magda Donia, Ph.D.<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Magda is an associate professor\u00a0at the Telfer School of Management. Her research interests focus on individual and organizational giving exceeding formal role expectations. At the individual level, she is interested in why employees contribute beyond expectations and whether different motivations lead to different contributions. At the organizational level, she is interested in the effect of corporate socially responsible actions within the organization.<\/p>\n

Ivy L. Bourgeault, Ph.D.<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Ivy is a full professor in the Telfer School of Management and the Institute of Population Health at the University of Ottawa and holds the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Chair in Gender, Work and Health Human Resources.\u00a0Ivy has garnered an international reputation for her research on health professions, health policy and women\u2019s health.<\/p>\n

\"Yanhong<\/p>\n

Yanhong Li, M.Sc.<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Yanhong is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the\u00a0Telfer School of Management and a graduate research assistant on the project. She has a keen interest in occupational health psychology, as evidenced by having\u00a0already co-authored two articles in high-impact scientific journals, including the\u00a0Journal of Organizational Behavior<\/em>\u00a0and the\u00a0Journal of Vocational Behavior<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\"Nick<\/p>\n

Nick Turner, Ph.D.<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Nick is a full professor and\u00a0the Distinguished Research Chair in Advanced Business Leadership at the University of Calgary\u2019s Haskayne School of Business. His fields of interest include leadership, work design, and occupational health and safety.<\/p>\n

E. Kevin Kelloway, Ph.D.<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Kevin is a full professor and Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Occupational Health Psychology at Saint Mary\u2019s University.\u00a0He is a prolific researcher, an experienced consultant, and a popular speaker. His ongoing research\u00a0is helping reveal the impact leaders have on employee health. He\u2019s also helping us understand what can be done to predict and prevent workplace violence.<\/p>\n

\"Sheena<\/p>\n

Sheena Johnson, Ph.D.<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Sheena\u00a0is an Occupational and Chartered Psychologist, and Senior Lecturer at Alliance Manchester Business School. Her work on workplace health and wellbeing addresses occupational stress, burnout, and the role of emotions. She also studies the ageing workforce, with particular focus on health and wellbeing, older worker competencies, and how retirement issues are being managed in the wake of the default retirement age abolishment and changes to pension entitlement in the UK.<\/p>\n
