At the Annual General Meeting held in October 2010, the following Vision and Mission Statements were approved by the MHAAA Members:
Vision
To build a community of MHA Alumni engaged in enhancing the MHA Program of the University of Ottawa.
Mission
- To develop and maintain a network for communication among MHA alumni,students, faculty and the health care community
- To create opportunities for professional development of alumni through educational sessions and information exchange
- To promote the enrolment of qualified students by the MHA program and to support their advancement in the health care field
- To advocate on behalf of alumni to the MHA director regarding the content and quality of the MHA program
